He went to grab his jacket and the keys to the car before heading out the door and since he figured Dean would probably want behind the wheel, tossed them over.

It wasn't much, but at least this was getting out and doing something. Sam was a little relieved to be doing hat at least. It was frustrating reading the crap they were and getting nowhere at all.
